Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS)

Deep Brain Stimulation, often known as DBS, is a reversible, albeit invasive neurosurgical procedure where electrondes are implanted deep in the brain and electrical stimulation is delivered to treat slowness, stiffness, tremor, and dyskinesia.   Dr. Changdra, MD will join us to explain the surgery, who makes a good candidate, and answer your questions. He is a St Augustine native and is proud to return home and give back to the community that he grew up in!
