About the event

Join us for the 4th Annual Parkinson’s Perseverance Beach Walk at the beautiful Frank Butler Park East (just 2 miles south of last years walk)! This event is all about community, wellness, and, most importantly, perseverance. Living with Parkinson’s requires resilience and the determination to keep moving forward, no matter the challenges. Walking, in any form, is a symbol of this strength. On our out-and-back course, you can choose your own distance, up to 3.2 miles (or 5 km), making it accessible for everyone. Whether it’s a few steps or the full distance, each stride is a testament to perseverance and the power of staying active.

Family and friends are encouraged to join you, walking together as a show of support and solidarity. After the walk, enjoy a delicious community brunch catered by Café 11 under the beach pavilions, featuring bacon and eggs, French toast, and home fries. The event ends with the drawing of our winning raffle ticket!

Date: Saturday Oct 26th

Location: Frank Butler Beach EAST, Pavilion Area

Time: Walk begins at 930am, followed by brunch, starting at 11:00am

Registration is free, but a $15 donation per person (cash or check made to ReBloom) for brunch is appreciated

Restrooms and ample free parking are available at Butler Park off Minnie Street and the neighboring Mary Street Beach Ramp access.  Join us with a morning of exericise and celebrate the spirit of perseverance and the power of community!
